ICTIEE 2027 is a flagship initiative of the IUCEE Foundation that brings together global educators, researchers, and leaders to drive innovation in higher education. The Fourteenth International Conference on Transformations in Engineering Education (ICTIEE 2027) will be held from January 7 to 9, 2027, at Saintgits College of Engineering, Kottayam, Kerala, India. Organised annually, the conference brings together leaders, faculty, researchers, and students from diverse educational institutions to share ideas, experiences, and innovations in engineering and higher education.
THEME
Student-Centric Teaching across Disciplines
The theme of ICTIEE 2027 is “Student-Centric Teaching across Disciplines.” Building on IUCEE’s enduring mantra, “I am teaching… are they learning?”, the conference emphasises the importance of designing learning experiences that place students at the centre of education. ICTIEE 2027 will feature insightful talks by distinguished leaders from academia and industry, providing an excellent platform for networking, collaboration, and professional growth. ICTIEE 2027 aims to connect global experts and passionate educators committed to advancing the quality of teaching and learning across disciplines.
This year, the conference will focus on innovative teaching pedagogies, applied and experiential learning approaches, curriculum design for problem-solving, and frameworks that strengthen critical thinking and real-world application of knowledge. The conference will also highlight advancements in educational research methodologies, data-informed assessment practices, and emerging technologies that support effective teaching and learning. ICTIEE 2027 will explore the growing role of digital transformation and academia-industry collaboration in shaping future-ready education, while emphasising meaningful student engagement, continuous feedback practices, and improved learning outcomes across disciplines.
The event also encourages dialogue across engineering, sciences, humanities, management, and emerging interdisciplinary fields to create inclusive and transformative learning ecosystems that prepare students to address real-world challenges with adaptability, empathy, and lifelong learning skills.
Call for Papers
The IUCEE Foundation and Saintgits Group of Institutions invite faculty members and professionals to submit full-length, original, and unpublished research and practice papers that reflect contemporary developments in engineering education. Submissions should align with the conference theme and the specified tracks and must be received by July 31, 2026.
All submissions will undergo a double-blind review process. Accepted papers will be invited for presentation at the conference. Furthermore, selected and presented papers will be considered for publication in a Special Issue of the Journal of Engineering Education Transformations (JEET).

Submission Guidelines
Instructions for Authors:
- Prospective authors are invited to submit full-length papers on their original and unpublished research work in the tracks specified.
- The paper shall be 4-8 pages, with clear content (text, images, and equations).
- The authors must follow the provided manuscript template when preparing their papers. Click here to download the template.
- The authors need to specify the track and sub-track in the submitted manuscript. Refer to the website for the track and sub-track details.
- The paper must be submitted in PDF format.
- All paper submissions are subject to a double-blind review process.
- Hence, any information identifying the authors or their institution should be anonymised while submitting the paper.
- Papers submitted will be desk rejected in the following cases:
- Non-compliance with double-blind submission policies
- Similarity index above 12% (Turnitin)
- AI Detection Score of more than 25% (Turnitin)
- Out-of-conference scope submission
- Submitted papers will undergo a double-blind review process to assess novelty, significance, scientific rigour, clarity, and quality.
- Submitted papers must not have been published as copyrighted material nor be submitted for consideration for publication as copyrighted material in print or electronic form.
- If selected for an in-person presentation, at least one author must register for the conference to present their paper.
- Manuscripts of the selected papers will be forwarded to the Journal of Engineering Education Transformations (JEET) for publication in a Special Issue. (Scopus indexed Journal http://www.journaleet.in/).
- JEET will take at least 4 months to publish the paper in a special issue after the conference, and the Scopus Indexing period is 6-12 months.
- Paper submission via email is not encouraged.
Guidelines to Preserve Anonymity for “Double-Blind” Submissions:
- Ensure that the title page of your PDF submission does not include authors' names and affiliations. If your paper is accepted, this information will be added to the final camera-ready copy. During submission, provide author details only on the registration page. The PDF file should not contain any author information.
- Exclude any acknowledgements that may reveal authors' identities or funding sources from the PDF submission for review. If your paper is accepted, this information will be included in the final camera-ready copy.
- Avoid including project titles or names that could potentially lead to the identification of authors through a web search engine.
- Name your files carefully. The source file names (e.g., “Rajesh.pdf”) are often embedded in the final output as accessible comments.
- Use care in referring to your previous works as related works. Do not omit references to provide anonymity, as this leaves the reviewer unable to grasp the context. Instead, you can reference your past work in the third-person format, just like any other piece of related work by another author. For example, instead of “Recently, we have proposed a new protocol [9] …,” sentences in the spirit of “Recently, the authors in [9] have proposed a new protocol …” may be used.
- Papers with the same title and abstract should not be posted on a public website, such as arxiv.org, or shared via public mailing lists or communicated to other conferences/journals/publications.
