The reviews were double-blind. Each submission was examined independently by at least 2 reviewers.
The conference paper selection and peer-review process are conducted in accordance with international academic standards. The workflow consists of three stages: (1) abstract screening, (2) full-paper peer review combined with in-conference academic evaluation, and (3) score consolidation, final decision, and proceedings publication.Stage 1 – Abstract screening:
Authors submit an abstract to register their proposed contribution. The Programme Committee conducts an initial screening to assess (i) relevance to the conference scope and themes and (ii) minimum academic quality, reflected in the clarity of objectives, expected contribution, and plausibility of the proposed approach. Approved abstracts are invited for full-paper submission.
Stage 2 – Full-paper peer review and in-conference evaluation:
Each full paper is reviewed by at least two independent subject-matter experts with relevant research experience. In parallel, the conference appoints a discussant (or designated evaluator) to provide a supplementary assessment and consolidate review requests to facilitate scholarly discussion. Eligible papers must be presented in the assigned technical session moderated by the Session Chair; presentation performance and subsequent discussion are recorded as part of the overall evaluation.
Stage 3 – Score consolidation, final decision, and publication:
The final decision is based on a composite score, calculated as the arithmetic mean of: (i) peer-review score(s), (ii) discussant score, and (iii) presentation score. Accepted papers must be revised in response to reviewer comments and in-conference feedback and resubmitted as camera-ready by the specified deadline. Camera-ready submissions are then checked for compliance with content and formatting requirements before being edited, compiled, and published in the conference proceedings.
To ensure objectivity and reduce potential bias, reviewers were recused from handling submissions where any conflict of interest existed, including close professional or institutional relationships with the authors. The review process was conducted in accordance with established ethical standards to ensure fairness and transparency
NOTE: All submissions to the conference must undergo textual similarity screening to ensure academic integrity. Manuscripts with high similarity indices or suspicious textual overlap will be excluded from the review and evaluation process using one of the following tools: iThenticate, Turnitin, or CrossCheck.
