MedRob is a half day BioRob 2026 Workshop.
This workshop addresses this gap by bringing together leading researchers and practitioners in healthcare robotics, assistive systems, human modeling, and AI. Drawing inspiration from the success of robotics software ecosystems, most notably ROS, the workshop focuses on how shared data representations, modular architectures, and community-driven standards can accelerate the translation of robotics technologies into real-world healthcare applications.
Submission Guidelines
Contributions to this workshop are sought in the form of posters, which can describe work (but not limited to) in the related field:
- Data standardization for assistive and medical robotics
- Wearable sensing and biosignal integration
- Using biofeedback for assistive robotics and rehabilitation personalization
- Human-robot interaction (HRI) for rehabilitation
- Long-term engagement strategies in HRI
- Human simulation and digital human models
- Cognitive modeling in rehabilitation robotics
- Clinical implementation and validation of robotic systems
- Ethical and legal frameworks for medical robots
- Safety and trust in healthcare robotic systems
